About Energy organizer

Use the Energy organizer to view energy reports generated by the report service for apps that you distribute using TestFlight or distribute through the App Store.

Important: For apps released in the App Store, the user must agree to share user crash and energy data with developers. (TestFlight users automatically share these logs with developers.)

To view energy reports, choose Window > Organizer and click Energy. Xcode begins refreshing the energy reports for the selected app version, including embedded app extensions. Xcode downloads the top energy reports that occurred during the past two weeks. However, there may be up to a one-day delay between when you first distribute your app and when energy reports are available in Xcode.

Use the first two columns to select an energy report for your app, version, and build. In the detail area, view the energy report including the logs and go to the source code where an event occurred. In the inspector, view and add additional information about an energy report. If the Energy organizer is empty, go to If no crash, energy, or metrics reports appear in the organizer and review Supported energy reports.
