You can specify the author name and color that are used when you add comments to a document or edit a document with change tracking turned on. If you’re collaborating with others on a document, each collaborator can use a different color.
You can change your author name at any time. The new name appears the next time you comment in a document or make tracked changes; it won’t change the name that appears on comments and changes you made previously.
Choose Pages > Preferences (from the Pages menu at the top of your screen).
Click General at the top of the preferences window.
Enter a name in the Author field, then close the preferences window
Changed text is highlighted with the author color associated with the person who made the change. This color is also used for comments added to text. You can change your assigned color at any time.
Choose View > Comments and Changes > Author Color (from the View menu at the top of your screen), then choose a color.
All your comments and changes in the document switch to the new color (as long as you haven’t changed your author name).
When change tracking is on, you can also choose an author color from the
menu in the review toolbar.
