Change a chart from one type to another

You can change a chart from one type to another. For example, you can change a column chart to a bar chart, or a 2D chart to a 3D chart.

Change a chart’s type

Select the chart.
Click the Chart tab at the top of the sidebar on the right.
If you don’t see a sidebar, or it doesn’t have a Chart tab, click in the toolbar.
Click the Chart Type pop-up menu at the bottom of the sidebar, then choose an option.

If you can’t edit a chart, it may be locked. Unlock it to make changes.
