You can select tables, cells, rows, and columns in order to edit and rearrange them.
Note: The tasks below apply to a table you add to your page. They don’t apply to a page divided into columns.
Tap the table, then tap
in its top-left corner.
Three selection handles (blue dots) appear on the edge of the table when it’s selected.
Tap the table.
Letters appear above the columns and numbers appear to the left of the rows.
Do any of the following:
Select a single row or column: Tap the number or letter for the row or column you want to select.
Select multiple rows or columns: Tap the number or letter for a row or column, then drag a selection handle (a blue dot) to encompass the rows or columns you want.
Select a cell: Tap it once.
Select a range of cells: Tap a cell, then drag a selection handle (a blue dot) to encompass the range of cells you want to select.
If you don’t see the selection handles, first tap
to close the keyboard.
Select a cell to edit its contents: Double-tap the cell.
