You must install a Volume Purchase Program (VPP) service token before assigning apps and books purchased using the VPP. In-house enterprise apps appear after they have been added.
Note: You cannot remove a VPP service token, but you can disable VPP Managed Distribution by deselecting “Distribute apps and books from the Volume Purchase Program.” To enable it again, you must import the VPP token.
You must first download the VPP token from your VPP account before completing this task.
In the Server app sidebar, select Profile Manager.
Check “Distribute apps and books from the Volume Purchase Program.”
Drag the VPP service token into the dialog. Or click Choose, locate the service token, then click Choose again.
If you’ve previously imported a VPP service token belonging to another VPP account, or it the VPP token is in use elsewhere, see Replace a VPP service token.
Click Done.
Click the Open Profile Manager link in the Profile Manager pane of the Server app. Or, in your web browser, enter the URL for Profile Manager.
The URL is https://your server name/profilemanager/.
Log in to Profile Manager using an administrator account.
In the Profile Manager sidebar, choose Apps or Books.
To sort apps by type, select the Category column.
To view specific app categories, or apps for OS X or iOS, choose the category or kind of app from the All Categories or All Kinds pop-up menu.
To view specific book categories, choose the category from the All Categories pop-up menu.
