When you turn on Wiki service, you can use wikis to easily share information with your friends, family, and coworkers.
Use the Server app to set up your server to host wikis. A wiki is a collection of pages and files that a group of people can view and add to. Traditional websites have webmasters and content producers who create content for others to view. When users create a wiki, they choose who can create and edit content. You can use wikis as an intranet for your organization or team, as an information hub for a community group, or as a place to share information with your family and friends.
In the Server app, you can choose which users are allowed to create wikis.
For information about creating and editing wikis, see Wiki Help. To access Wiki Help from any wiki page, click the Action pop-up menu , then choose Help.
Select Wikis in the Server app sidebar.
Choose an option from the “Permissions can create wikis” pop-up menu.
To allow all users in your local directory, on your network server, and on connected network servers to create wikis, choose “all users.”
To restrict who can create wikis, choose “only some users.” In the dialog that appears, click Add , then enter the name of a user or group you want to give access to. As you type, matching users and groups appear. Select a name from the list to add it. Click OK when you finish adding users and groups.
To allow iOS users to edit files on the wiki using iWork, select “Enable WebDAV access to Wiki files.”
Click the On/Off switch to turn on the service.
