A test plan (a file with a .xctestplan file extension) specifies which tests to run and how to run them one or more times. It includes a list of test targets in the project and, for each test target, any test classes or methods which should be enabled or disabled. It also includes a list of test configurations, which describe how to perform a single run of the test suite including the settings to use for that particular configuration. An Xcode scheme which has been converted to use test plans may reference one or more test plans in order to run tests according to each plan.
