You add, delete, and rearrange pages differently depending on whether your document is a page layout document or a word-processing document (for example, a letter or report).
In a page layout document: Click
in the toolbar, choose Show Page Thumbnails, select the page thumbnail, then press Delete on your keyboard.
In a word-processing document: Select all the text and objects on a page, then press Delete on your keyboard until the page is cleared.
If the page you want to delete is a blank page, click at the beginning of the next page (before the first text or graphic), then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
You can also delete an entire section by selecting it in the thumbnail view, then pressing Delete on your keyboard. You can’t delete individual pages from a section in this way.
You can rearrange sections in a document, but not pages within a section. In a page layout document, each page is its own section. A word-processing document may have multiple pages in a section.
Click
in the toolbar, then choose Show Page Thumbnails.
Select the section in the thumbnail view, then drag it to where you want it in the document hierarchy.
A yellow border appears around the pages in a section.
