You can zoom in or out on a document to suit your needs and view Pages full screen.
You might want to enlarge (zoom in) or reduce (zoom out) your overall view of a document. For example, zoom in to focus on fine-tuning the placement of a caption or zoom out to work on the layout of your document.
Choose an option from the Zoom pop-up menu in the toolbar:
A percentage: The document enlarges or reduces to the specific percentage.
Fit Width: The document adjusts to fill the Pages window horizontally.
Fit Page: The document adjusts to show the whole page vertically.
By default, Pages documents open at 125%, but you can change that setting.
Choose Pages > Preferences (from the Pages menu at the top of your computer screen).
Click General, then choose a percentage from the Default Zoom pop-up menu.
You can expand the Pages window to fill the entire computer screen.
Choose View > Enter Full Screen (from the View menu at the top of your computer screen), or click the full screen button (the two diagonal arrows) in the top-right corner of the Pages window.
Move the pointer to the top of the screen to view the Pages menu and other menu bar controls.
Press Escape to return to regular view.
