When you use iCloud Drive, all the items stored there—including everything in the Pages folder and folders for other apps—appear in the document manager. Items that can't be opened by Pages are dimmed.
In the document manager, tap Locations in the toolbar, then tap iCloud Drive.
Note: You can’t create or move folders, documents, or other items in this view.
Do any of the following:
Search for text within your files on iCloud Drive: Tap the Search field, enter the word or phrase you want to find, then tap Search on the keyboard.
Pages displays all matches, but matched items that can’t be opened in Pages are dim.
When you’re finished, tap an item to open it or tap Cancel to return to iCloud Drive.
Sort the items: Drag down until you see Date, Name, and Tags buttons, then tap one.
Tags you apply to files and folders on your Mac don’t appear in iCloud Drive.
Change between list view and icon view: Drag down then tap 
on the right.
View the content of a folder: Tap the folder.
To see everything on iCloud Drive again, tap iCloud Drive at the top of the screen.
Return to the document manager: Tap Cancel.
Open a document or a Pages-compatible file: Tap the file.
If you tap a document that’s located outside of the Pages folder, Pages downloads the document to your device, where it appears in the document manager. In iCloud Drive, the document doesn’t change locations, but iCloud continues to keep the document up to date on your computers and iOS devices that use the same Apple ID.
If you tap a Pages-compatible file, Pages imports a copy, downloads it to your device (where it appears in the document manager), and adds it to the Pages folder in iCloud Drive.
In the document manager, tap 
, then tap “Move to.”
Tap the document you want to move.
Pages displays folders at the main level of iCloud Drive.
Tap the folder where you want to move the document, then tap "Move to this location," or tap Done if you decide not to move the document.
Even after you change the location of a document on iCloud Drive, it appears in the document manager. To open the document in Pages on Mac or Pages in iCloud on the web, navigate to the new location.
