
You can copy your Numbers spreadsheets to a WebDAV server then transfer them from the server to your iOS device.
You can transfer files from the server to your iOS device in Numbers ‘09, Excel, or CSV file format.
Click the desktop to switch to the Finder.
Choose Go > Connect to Server (from the Go menu at the top of your screen).
Type the address of the server in the Server Address field, then click Connect.
The server address should be in a form similar to this:
http://servername.com/path/
You can find more information about using WebDAV in Mac Help. Click the desktop to switch to the Finder, choose Help > Mac Help (from the Help menu at the top of your screen), then search for WebDAV.
Open Numbers on your device.
If the server is already set up on your device, skip to step 6. Otherwise, go to the next step to set up server access on your device.
In the spreadsheet manager, tap Locations in the toolbar.
Tap “Copy from WebDAV,” then type the server address (web address or URL).
Enter your user name and password.
Tap Sign In.
After you sign in to your WebDAV server, you can copy files to or from the server without signing in again. You remain signed in to the server you set up until you tap Sign Out.
Do one of the following:
Copy a spreadsheet from the server: Tap Locations in the spreadsheet manager toolbar, then tap “Copy from WebDAV.” Locate the file on the server, then tap it. When the transfer is complete, the spreadsheet appears in the spreadsheet manager.
Copy a spreadsheet to the server: Tap
in the spreadsheet manager toolbar, tap Send a Copy, then tap the spreadsheet you want to transfer. Tap a format for the spreadsheet, then tap WebDAV. Tap where you want to send the spreadsheet, then tap Copy.
