Replace template placeholders

Most Numbers templates include placeholder charts, tables, text, and images that you can edit, replace, or delete.

Replace a placeholder image

  1. Tap Add media button at the bottom of a placeholder image to see all the photos that are available on your device.

    If you already replaced the placeholder image, but you want to change it, tap the image to select it, tap Format button, tap Image, then tap Replace.

  2. Tap an image.

    If you don’t see the image you want, upload it to your device and try again.

To change the part of the image that’s visible, resize the mask for the image.

To remove a placeholder entirely, select it, then tap Delete.
