Check spelling

You can set Numbers to flag spelling errors as you enter text. You can also quickly look up the definition and suggested spellings of a word.

Check spelling

  1. Tap Tools button, then tap Settings.

  2. Turn on Check Spelling.

    Misspelled words are underlined in red.

  3. Double-tap a misspelled word, tap Replace, then tap a suggested spelling.

Look up a word

You can quickly look up the definition and spelling of words. Some listings also include a thesaurus entry and a Wikipedia entry.
