Resize, move, and lock a table

When you tap a table, controls appear around it to help you select, move, and resize it.

Select a table

When you tap a table, three selection handles (small blue dots) appear on the edge of the table.

Resize a table

Resizing a table makes the table larger or smaller; it doesn’t change the number of rows and columns it contains.

  1. Tap the table.

  2. Drag any of the selection handles (the blue dots) on the edge of the table to make the table larger or smaller.

    To resize the rows and columns simultaneously, drag the dot in the corner.

Move a table

  1. Tap the table.

  2. Drag Table handle in its top-left corner to move the table to where you want it.

Lock or unlock a table

You can lock a table so that it can’t be edited, moved, or deleted.

  1. Tap the table, then tap Format button.

  2. Tap Arrange, then tap Lock.

To unlock a table, tap it, then tap Unlock.
