Prevent access to the iTunes Store

You can prevent access to the iTunes Store by hiding the iTunes Store tab.

Hiding the tab also hides all links to the iTunes Store.

  1. Choose iTunes > Preferences.

  2. Click Restrictions.

  3. In the Disable section, select iTunes Store.

    To allow access to iTunes U when the iTunes Store is disabled, select “Allow access to iTunes U.”

  4. To prevent unauthorized changes, click the lock at the bottom of the preferences pane.
