For films to be sold on the Store in Korea, both a rating and rating classification number are required. Advisories are required if issued by the Korea Media Rating Board (KMRB). A rating specifies the appropriate ages suitable for viewing the film. The advisory specifies any consumer advice about the film’s content.
For iTunes Extras, all videos must be rated. They must contain a burnt-in pre-roll that displays the rating. If your iTunes Extras are not appropriately rated, do not make them available in Korea.
Specify rating codes to indicate the ages for which the content is suitable and understandable. Consumers see the ratings associated with the film while browsing the Store. The rating system is specified using the system attribute of the <rating> tag in the XML. For Korea, the system attribute is "kr-movies".
Below is an example of delivering a rating:

You can deliver only one rating value for each rating system.
Note: The rating code 18 is deprecated.
Beginning May 1, 2024, partners can deliver content with the rating 19.
Content that was rated before May 1, 2024 can use the rating of 18.
Content that is rated on or after May 1, 2024 should use the rating 19 rather than 18.

You can specify advisory codes to indicate violence, language, nudity, and other content. Consumers will see the advisory associated with the video while browsing the Store. The advisory system is specified using the system attribute of the <advisory> tag in the XML. For Korea, the system attribute is "kr-movies". You can supply one or more advisory codes as needed from the table below.
The table below lists the currently supported advisory codes. Note that these codes are valid only for the Korean system (system="kr-movies").

In addition to advisory codes, you can supply an optional severity level for each advisory. The severity level will be displayed during the ratings pre-roll along with the content advisory.
