Films delivered for distribution in South Africa need to be submitted to the Film and Publication Board (“FPB”) for an official review and rating. The FPB's website is at https://fpb.org.za and they can be contacted at the following email address: clientsupport@fpb.org.za
In addition to ratings, the FPB also issues consumer advice labels that are specific to each film. Where consumer advice has been issued, it must be displayed in the Apple TV app. The consumer advice labels are issued in the form of initials.
Submit the consumer advice to Apple using iTunes Connect or XML. Deliver the initials only, not the full advice.
Example: If a film is rated “16 L N P S V SV” by the FPB:
In iTunes Connect, select the rating 16 and choose the advisory codes from the Content Advisories menu.
In XML, deliver the rating and advisories with the <rating> and <advisory> tags:
