Below are examples of asset-only updates to remove an alternate audio asset from the product and to change the <locale> of a previously delivered file. The correct vendor ID that references the already delivered metadata must be supplied in the metadata.xml file for asset removal updates
Note: When you need to update or change assets for an existing product, you can simply send an asset-only update and deliver a new asset with the same locale; you do not need to remove the asset using the remove="true" attribute. See the first XML example in Film Asset-Only Update Example which shows that a German audio file is being replaced.
