Layered images make your artwork come to life. The layers create a sense of depth, realism, and vitality, and emphasize that the focused item is the closest thing to the user. When you submit artwork, make sure your file meets the requirements and guidelines below.
The Photoshop template includes two main groups in the layers palette. The first is Safety Areas & Sample UI and the second is Art. To see how to place your images, we’ve included overlays of green and red areas in the Safety Areas & Guides group.
Art Safe Area - You must keep all essential talent, faces, characters and titles in the green area. This is the focus of your art. It is recommended that important elements stay within this defined area to avoid any awkward art tangents.
Full-Bleed Background - Artwork must be full-bleed. Don’t include faces or any other important visual elements, as they will crop in some views.
* Content may not be available in all Movie Store territories.
A group labeled “Art” must contain all of your elements for the plugin to export the LSR. Using the provided template, arrange your elements in the Art group within the sub-groups: 4, 3, 2, 1, and Full-Bleed Background according to how you want your objects to be layered. In the Art group, a maximum of 5 sub-groups, non-grouped layers or a combination of both are allowed. At minimum, 2 elements, one non-fullscreen image and an opaque fullscreen background image, are required. Turn off any unused folders or ungrouped layers to generate the preview and final LSR file.
Layers with blending modes or adjustment layers need to be clipped to a parent layer or removed entirely from the file.
