Continuity connects iPod touch with your iPhone, iPad, and Mac so they work together. The following are examples of what you can do with Continuity:
Use Handoff to start an email or document on iPod touch, then pick up where you left off on your Mac.
Copy an image on iPod touch, and use Universal Clipboard to paste it on your iPad.
If you have iPhone, use Continuity to make phone calls and send SMS and MMS text messages with your iPod touch.
With iPhone use Instant Hotspot to provide Internet access to iPod touch.
