Editing text

If you need to edit text, an onscreen magnifying glass lets you position the insertion point where you need it. You can select text, and cut, copy, and paste text. In some apps, you can also cut, copy, and paste photos and videos.

The upper part of the screen shows an email message, the lower part of the screen shows the onscreen keyboard. A hand with the forefinger touching the screen displays a magnified view of text and the insertion point next to a word in the message.

A sample email message with some of the text selected. Above the selection are the Cut, Copy, bold/italics/underline, and right arrow buttons. The selected text is highlighted in blue, with grab points at either end.
