Share to Facebook

You can share your finished movie or trailer directly to Facebook if you have a Facebook account. To set up a free account, visit www.facebook.com.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • From the Projects browser: Tap the movie or trailer you want to share.

    • If you’re editing a project: Tap Done (in the upper-left corner) to return to the project details screen.

  2. Tap the Share button , then tap Facebook.

  3. Type your Facebook user name and password, then tap Sign In.

  4. To specify who can view your project, tap an option in the Viewable By list.

  5. Tap Share in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Share to YouTube

You can share your finished movie or trailer directly to YouTube if you have a Google account. To set up a free account, visit www.youtube.com.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • From the Projects browser: Tap the movie or trailer you want to share.

    • If you’re editing a project: Tap Done (in the upper-left corner) to return to the project details screen.

  2. Tap the Share button , then tap YouTube.

  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to sign in to your Google account.

  4. Tap the title, then use the keyboard to type a title; tap Description to add a description.

    If you previously shared the project to another website, the title you provided appears in the title field. To change the title, tap it.

  5. To specify how your project is categorized on the YouTube website, tap Category, scroll the options, then tap the one you want.

  6. To add keywords people can use to find your video on YouTube, tap Tags.

    To enter more than one tag, tap Return after each one. If you previously shared the project to another website, any tags you specified appear in the Tags field.

  7. If a choice appears, tap the size you want to export.

    Medium produces a smaller file that uploads to the web more quickly. The HD 720p and HD 1080p settings produce a larger file that’s great for viewing on a Mac or on a high-definition television (HDTV) through Apple TV. The 4K setting is available for projects that contain 4K media and provides the highest resolution for viewing on a Mac or TV with a 4K or greater display.

  8. Tap to set a privacy setting.

    Unlisted videos can be viewed only by people who have the link to the video. Private videos can be viewed only by you and the people you invite to view the video.

  9. If you want to specify where you shot the project, tap Location.

  10. Tap Share in the upper-right corner of the screen.
