Modify DHCP client settings

View the following information about a DHCP client:

• Name (computer name)

• Network

• IP address

• MAC address

• Type (dynamic or static)

1. Select DHCP in the Server app sidebar, then click Clients.

2. In the client list, you can view clients that are currently connected to your DHCP server.

   You can also view client information by double-clicking a client in the list or by selecting a client in the list, and clicking the Action pop-up menu , then choosing View Client.

Remove an assigned static IP address from your DHCP server.

1. Select DHCP in the Server app sidebar, then click Clients.

2. In the client list, select a client with a static IP address.

   You can sort the list of clients according to type (dynamic or static) by clicking the Type column.

3. Click Remove , and if you’re sure you want to delete the selected client, click Delete.

   This doesn’t disconnect the client from your server. You must change the DHCP settings on the client to prevent the use of the static IP address.
