Use the Stats pane of the Server app to get a picture of server activity over time.
You can find out when the server is likely to be busy, whether it’s operating near capacity, and when it’s likely to be least used.
Click the pop-up menu, then choose a type of activity and a time period.
Processor Usage: Monitor the workload of the server’s processor or processors.
Memory Usage: See how much memory the server has been using.
Memory Pressure: See how fast memory the server is being used.
Network Traffic: Track how much incoming and outgoing data the server transfers over the network.
Bytes Served: Track how much incoming and outgoing data the Caching server transfers over the network.
Connected Users: Track how many users are connected to the file shares.
If the server has a display, you can use Activity Monitor on the server.
Activity Monitor shows the processes and apps currently open on the computer. You can use Activity Monitor to monitor short-term processor workload, disk activity, and network activity.
