Getting to Know the EVB3 Interface
You can open and close the EVB3’s “lid” by clicking the button below the Volume control.
The EVB3 interface is broken down into the following sections:
Drawbar parameters: The top, center section contains the drawbars, which are used to make changes to the basic organ sound in real time. See Using the EVB3 Drawbar Controls. Global Tone parameters: The row of knobs across the center includes the Global Tone control parameters. These provide quick access to various aspects of your sound. See Using the EVB3 Global Tone Parameters. Model and Sustain parameters: The Organ, Pitch, Condition and Sustain sections—in the lower-left half of the interface—provide precise control over the tone of the organ and over other aspects, such as fine-tuning, key click characteristics, and crosstalk levels. You will generally access these parameters only when editing or creating an organ sound. See Using the EVB3 Model Parameters. Effects section: You can control the built-in EQ, Wah, Distortion, Chorus and Reverb effects in the area at the center right of the EVB3 interface. See Using the Integrated EVB3 Effects. MIDI Control parameters: The turquoise section at the lower left of the EVB3 interface is used to assign MIDI keyboard parameters, allowing you to control the EVB3 drawbars with your MIDI controller. See Setting Up the EVB3 for Your MIDI Equipment.
